JWBA were appointed to design and develop this property having recently worked on the house right next door!

A thorough site analysis was carried out and initial concepts prepared that were designed to reflect the clients tastes whilst also complimenting the neighbours extension next door.

A narrow entrance hall was increased in width to create a feeling of spaciousness of arrival whilst also improving the actual practicality of the space. Once through this, the focus shifts to creating views through to the garden... you are taken on a journey through the home to the feature open plan space to the rear.

This space is filled with natural light via 5x flat glass rooflights, floor to ceiling bi-folding doors and a beautiful arched top window. The ceiling detailing provides character as well as increased the feeling of space with a floor to plaster measurement of around 2.5m.

The bathroom was relocated to the first floor and an ensuite created off the master bedroom. On the top floor an existing dormer window was extended to create a cozy office space which has made a feature of the red brick chimney breast that runs through the space.

The project was completed in 2023.
